We got contacted legally about showing films before and it wasn't fun to deal with and I got more grey hair from it (since we charge admission to the con).
Don't list clue and other movies you will show on the website or conbook.
Have signs up at the con/hotel that show the movie schedule ---the best compromise (and we cannot charge to see those movies so we have to admit anyone into the movie showing that shows up to see it).
For the conbook description under the movie blocks you can put something that says: "Convention themed movies. Exact movies and times will be posted at the con".
I look forward to seeing what Nick pulls out of his bag of tricks for themed movies and late night cheesy awesully bad movies...I know it will be good.

As far as films go, I have heard positive reaction towards Clue. I'm thinking Murder By Death, since it has a similar feel (and Eileen Brennan is in both). But I recall a past discussion regarding advertising non-public domain films. I personally would love to show main stream with a theme (other boardgame movies), but I am able to show PubDom (I have a large collection) just as easily; what's everyone else's thoughts on this?
