[Deptheads] Demographics Sheets

Victor's comments highlight just how much we are missing in our event data. When you start with so little info (6 boardgame payout sheets, and 3 RPG sheets from Monday afternoon games) and virtually no idea about how most of the other events work, it's hard to generate useful sheets for all types of events.
We need the minimal information below about every event. If it's in our event list, it counts.
Who signed up, preferably with badge id? [Assuming a signup sheet.]
Who actually participated, with badge id?
If your department sends sheets to payouts, the data above should be going to payouts starting Orccon 2012.
When I see the payout spreadsheet it should either have completed data, an it ran (i.e. a participant sheet was turned in, if there are no winners) or DNR (participant sheet turned in signed by GM as did not run) note for every event listed.
I will endeavor to put together a sheet for each type of event listed below. Please let me know if I'm missing an event type.
Auction [As much as we'd like to get this info, it may be incomplete due to people coming and going throughout the event.]
Board and Card games [I would like to hear from Wargame Bootcamp on any special info for their sheets, if any.]
Collectible Cards and Miniatures [How will draft pods differ in sheet needs.?]
Costume Contest [Entrants required and viewers, if possible]
Demos
Flea Market [Sellers]
Game Library Checkout
Guided Tour
LARP
Miniatures
Movies
RPG
RPGA
Paint and Take
Painting Contest [Entrants required and viewers at awards presentation, if possible]
Playtesting
Seminars/Panels
Video
VIP events
I will also put together a generic sheet for pick-up games, but for now, I don't expect these to be handled. If you have an easy way of documenting, please do so, and turn into me at the end of the con.
Please review the Board games sheet and let me know tparry at strategicon.net if any of the data in the right-hand table does pertain to your events. I'm guessing none of it for most events, but I'd like confirmation *OFF THE LIST*.

Demographics show what activity people are choosing to do at the con each hour and tabs what events each specific person is doing during the entire con.

>> I've tweaked some of the sheets to produce a more uniform look and hopefully help make the process easier for you, payouts and whomever ends up doing the annual awards. I only have real sheets from Monday of the con for RPGs, and a blank and the file merge template for boardgames, so bare with me on this.

>> The RPG sheet is basically what I'd expect the LARP sheets to look like and possibly Miniatures, which brings me to an important question. For RPGs and Miniatures, it seems most events have no winners, but the few that do, need to be handled. How are we handling these events currently? And, this Orccon, we have a LARP tournament, how is that being handled? [I'm referring to our paperwork, not outside sponsorship.]
>>
>> The one exception to the format would be a longer sign-up list for the LARPs. Would LARPs have alts? Would LARPs need the list to continue on the back?

>>
>> I'm working on the sign-up sheets next. Do miniatures sign-up sheets have/need the description on them like RPGs?
>>
>> Also, how does each dept generate the sign-up sheets? I appear to have the data for boardgames. Not sure about the rest of you. Just because you've mentioned it to me, doesn't mean I remember. I'm trying to make this a smooth modification.
