For miniatures, most events are 16 players or less. The exceptions are Circus Maximus (24) and the Warmachine/Hordes tourney (32).

The big GW tournaments can havve more than that, but I am not sure how they file paperwork since they seem to be thier own entity,

Subject: [Deptheads] Paperwork Layout Modifications

Hi All,
I ran a couple of tests with new sign-up sheets and post-game information for
oard games last con.
1. Payouts prefers the horizontal format. Boardgames patrons seemed to have no
ssues with the horizontal format.
I will be generating all sheets in horizontal format.
2. The event name needs to be the biggest print on the page, if possible.
I will be changing the layout to put on one line as small as legibly possible
trategion Logo - Gamex 2012 - Department
Possibly even sideways down the short side of the paper. Does anyone have any
ssues with sideways for this info?
The convention and year is important to eliminate guesswork when looking at
aperwork later.
epartment just makes sense, and might even help the payouts crew.
3. It has been determined that using one piece of paper for both sign-up and
ost-game info is not the best, unless it all can fit on one side of an 8.5x11.
hat means some departments will get the combined info, others will have two
eparate sheets.
Boardgames - separate
PGs - combined
I can guess at the other departments, but I'd rather each department let me know
he maximum number of people who sign-up for an event? If only one event skews
he numbers, please list is separately as a special case.
Please let us know if you see any issues with these changes for any specific
epartment.
Thanks,
Tanya
