[Deptheads] OrcCon 2014

Yes, starting this a month ago when it wasn't crunch time might have been a good idea, but it didn't happen. It isn't a month ago, and it is crunch time.

I applaud your enthusiasm and send good wishes to you in figuring some of the logistics out before or during the coming con, but not all of us can do that, yet may have some great ideas and ways to help after this con. The tone of your email reads to me as after Gateway is too late. "have things ironed out" has a note of finality, paired with your last two sentences that seem to say "this discussion" is only at the con.

I look forward to hearing what you collectively come up with and figure out, etc. But please, while we respect your interest in working on it now, please also respect those of us needing to wait an week and a half to switch gears properly.

Several people are depressed on valentines day and feel left out. We won't rub salt into their wounds at Orccon. We will have an event for single people too. Not an anti-valentine's event but a gamer friendly fun social event for people who are at the con solo (Some will have significant others not at con and others will be single).
