OK,
I had a great time at GenCon when RPGs were at the Milwaukee Arena floor with pipe and drape. The noise level was fine and the ambient noise added to the atmosphere. We weren't in an isolated atmosphere, we were in an energy-producing atmosphere.
As Strategicon members, please do not bring a negative vibe to the new location. Give this a chance and allow us to make adjustments as we go.
Remember, the majority of Staff members said half the attendance would leave the con when I moved boardgames from 5 separate rooms to the ballroom. Not all change is good nor bad....it's how we deal with it that makes it so.
Please support us as we try to give this move it's best chance for success.
