When an event is submitted you will get an email like this-

Event Requiring Approval

Please Login to the site and check it out.
Event Title: CandyLand Tournament
Event Game System: Candy Management
Event Time: Start Time 1: 'Friday, 9 PM'
Submitted by Willie Wonka
Submitter Email: Wonka at chocofactory.net
GM Name: Wonka
GM Email: TBD

The time and date are in it.

Also note--
Anyone approving events needs to look at the listing before approving it. You have to review it to see if there are notes to the dept. head plus check for errors, check the website link, check for inappropriate language or statements (since after it is approved it is on our website), and check how it is listed (private?, allow pre-reg?, maturity, beginner or experienced? and is it correctly listed as a demo, event, or tourney).

Boardgames has a system and does a great job with the 400+ games listed each con and they are checked for typos as well as all of the above information in the listing including batches. Approving events (especially from your reg gms) is thousands of papercuts to have to review each one (or batch) but it is a necessary duty for supervisors.

Something's been nagging at me for ages, and I could never figure out what it was. I just figured it out today, and feel dumb for not having noticed it before.

Can we please have a Date/Time column listed on the Event Approvals List page? I'd like to be able to have a general idea of times for submitted items without having to go into each and every listing.

"Would you like another drink, sir?" asked the bartender.
"I think not," replied Descartes, and promptly vanished.
