[Deptheads] Feedback from Facebook

Hey folks,

Just went on Facebook for Strategicon and made a statement about the
library. While there, I saw a lot of messages and pasted in a bit of
feedback below.

I'm taking myself off the Facebook and Twitter accounts for Strategicon so
hopefully someone will pick up communicating with the community in those
spaces. I've done so less this year than in the past and it's pretty
silent. This is a huge way to grow the community so hopefully it can get
the attention it deserves going forward. There are a lot of questions on
both accounts.

I had a blast on Sunday! So many good games but according to my friends I'm
in the minority. You guys may want to find a better GM vetting system. I
know they're doing it for free but people are paying money to have a good
time and some of the GMs were god awful. There were issues with GMs taking
on 8+ players even though my friends signed up during the day for a 5
person game. Some players behavior was way out of line (i.e. Inappropriate
race and rape jokes) and the GM did nothing to squash it. I had a few
people almost call it quits after 2hrs of one game and wanted to leave.
Thankfully the D&D Adventure League was there, so they were able to get one
good game. Maybe if you guys passed out a GM rating card to all players to
turn in after a game to the sign up area. Maybe then you can find and asses
trouble GMs and improve the overall quality of the con. Hell you could even
share some of the info with the GM so they'll know how to improve.
