[Deptheads] Web Site

I hope that we can use something like Wordpress to give you all some control over content relative to your department, but until then, the show and website must go on.

Feel free to send me lists and updates. And this is not just John. While major changes involving PHP coding are hard to do any day except Wednesday, content changes can be done almost any day and time of day that I see the email (at least while I don't have a paying job, and any night or weekend when I do). I know you all want to be able to edit your own content, but don't wait until we have the system in place to ask for changes or for new pages. If we had waited until the perfect team was in place to make changes to the cons, they'd likely be dead by now.

To help with John's list...
Would this page of vendors be separate from the dealer page we have, if so, to what purpose?
Updating, if I don't do it fast enough, call me on my cell, and if necessary, leave a message. [Don't expect me to pick up between 10pm and 8am most days, but you won't know until you try.]

We have the capability to add videos to the albums pages, just send it or a link to it for me to download. [I have received several videos in the past, I need to find some of them. I haven't ported all the old albums to the new system, so the ones I found for Gamex 2011, and Gateway 2012 aren't accessible until those cons are ported. I do have one cool video from Orccon 2013, but it has a problem that has prevented me from adding it to the album. See for yourself. http://www.strategicon.net/photo_galleries/albums/Videos/2013_Orccon/2013_Orccon-Artamis1.AVI ]

We can put just about any image or video anywhere on the site. I just need to know what and where (as in which page and where on it).

Merchandise page, send me the data and I or someone will make the page.

No one will be allowed to upload dealer packets until they are provided as a pdf. On the other hand, this is a feature I might be able to set up for you.

Again, PHP features may be a while coming, content and new pages of content (that you provide) will likely be up in less than 24 hrs. So, send me stuff.
