[Deptheads] Event Location Settings

We are working on an updated site with hopefully all these simple sounding issues resolved. In the meantime, I’m having to patch the existing site to accommodate as much as possible.

Jim, Mickey, and Jon, I can try to not send the emails, but it will have to be for everyone on the RPG list. So Mickey and Jon have to approve. I can set things to not send out emails for RPGs with Pathfinder RPG as the Game System. I need something more identifiable with Adventurers League to stop those. So, Mickey, if you approve the axing of your event emails can you change the GM from TBD to Adventurers League GM. That way I have something unique to filter on.

Splitting the RPGs in any way is just not happening on the existing site. Subgroups will be implemented of the new site. Which will also allow for subgroup filtering on search at a later date.

Where do we list LARPs as having an HQ? At the moment HQs and Sign-up Areas are the same location. The fact that LARPs doesn’t actually have a HQ does not change the primary location for LARP info, namely sign-up sheets. I welcome any suggestions on how to clear this up for the participants, particularly involving the web site and signage.

All the PFS and AL games get approved in a lump which fills my inbox with game approval listings I have nothing to do with and then when I do my signup sheets I have to make sure that I remove the PFS and AL events from my data. Could we at least have an RPG and a RPG-Organized Play separation, if a three way split is out of the question?

My volunteers are not equipped to answer questions about LARP events since they have no contact with administration. Of course we are happy to direct them to the sign up sheets and point out locations on the floor map.
