Notes and clarifications.
A 2. 101s: Please make sure that events listed as Demos are not really 101s. 101s are intended to verse a player on the basics of a game before playing a subsequent event. Demos do not have to have a related event.
A 4. Web Site: Wordpress is running on dev.strategicon.net. It is important to realize that with the dev site being a work in progress all non-content changes to the live site currently have to be made directly to the live site. This means that only broken things or requests deemed urgent enough will likely be fixed until the migration to Wordpress is complete. After all, I might break things even more while trying to change stuff.
If anyone wants a Wordpress account, email me and Mei. We need to know what pages you feel you need to edit. You will notice that dev.strategicon.net is missing a lot of content. If you wish to edit the live content Mei or I will copy over that page’s content when your account is created. Once you have made your changes, let me know and I will move the updates live. If you plan to be updating regularly or have been itching to change content on a page, you might as well start now. :)
F: Already sent out info on this, but volunteers needing access to the link need their badge attached to a Strategicon account. The email field now works on the edit page. Emails are currently case sensitive. Any issues email me the email you have and I’ll send you the correct format.
H 1. Tracking volunteers with purchased badges: Volunteers/GMs don’t get reimbursed without a Volunteer/GM Badge, a Paid Badge, and a Reimbursement Form signed by a department head.
A 5 and V. Q & A
Family Area also needs volunteers badly before I burn out. I had a really nice Gamex, plenty of help. I’m amazed how well I dealt with Gateway. Compared to Gamex, it felt like virtually no help, mainly because of the hours I couldn't be there were also the ones the potential volunteers couldn’t make.
These volunteers need to be comfortable working in an area frequented by kids. We supply games and puzzles for kids as young as 3 and we often have even younger kids stop by. Need at least one person manning the HQ between 8am and 8pm Saturday and Sunday. I have zero volunteers directly assigned to me, and I’m running events most of those days. Most needed times are 8am to 10am, and any times I’m running events in Video Games (one 2 hr event Saturday and Sunday). If I had a choice of volunteers for the 8am slot, it would be one with organizational skills as the HQ has to be set up.
Also, considering expanding to Friday from Noon to 8pm and Monday from 8am to 2pm, if I can get the people.

The purchased badge will then need to be turned in for reimbursement. If this procedure is not followed, Tracy is allowed to assault you in the method of her choosing, probably verbal, but why risk it?
