[Deptheads] Considering changing Title to Scenario

Hi,

So, Title / Descriptive Details is getting mixed response. Well, Descriptive Details is.

I’m wondering if anyone has objections to calling the field “Scenario” for everyone. I think this will kinda fit all events. If I absolutely have to, I can have Javascript switch to Title.

The point is Game System / Game is supposed to be just the name of the game with version or edition. i.e. what is on the box or book cover.

Scenario, is anything else not covered by another field that we display.

I think Title should refer to “Game System” + “Scenario” + “Classifications”.

I’m sure we can think of exceptions to every rule.

One reason why I’m getting picky. There was talk of having external links to every game system; something I think would be kinda cool. However, it will be hard to do if there is extraneous stuff specific to the event in the Game System field.
Second but related reason, we were going to try and separate the game data from the event data, so game data could be reused and be consistent. Game description would be separate from event description. Think of the potential.

Anyway, back to what do you think of Title becoming Scenario?
