So in order to accurately ID the Event Type, I either have to remember it all, or review the full Edit page for each and every event to mark them accordingly.

I did not mean to confuse anyone, but I meant Classification, not Event Type. Event Type usually equates to a department.

Edit Event has it, it just wasn’t labeled until now, i.e. Classification.
The Game System, Title and Classification are all one item on that page.
When I update the Prereg pages, they will be the same.

> Edit before submitting: Okay, there's one summary page that lists event type, but it's a page I've literally never used before: the Department Report page.

Actually, the Sign-Up Sheet Event Lists was created for generating the paperwork. It is intended for a data merge. It has everything, including Pre-reg info.

> The fact that Artemis kind of drowns out the VGR summary lists is a separate problem. I've got 14 tournaments/events in the VGR, and Artemis has 38. IMO, it shouldn't be listed in VGR, since it's not located in the Video Gaming room, and doesn't interact or coordinate with the VGR staff in any way. Special Events, perhaps?

First, there is no such thing as a Special Events department for the purpose of paper work. Each Special Event is listed under the Event Type/Department.

Artemis is a Video Game. However, I agree that it is not the Video Games department’s responsibility. Since Artemis generates it’s own sheets, I’ve spoken with Eric A. and I’m changing the host to General. That would get them off your lists, but still show up in Video Game search results (the whole point of separating Primary and Secondary Event Types and Host).

Hope this info helps you a little.
