Shane,
I have someone from my department who submitted a game to Board Games since his game is published already. His name is Andrew Lowen, with Hurt 'Em. I have one of his events for ING but that's because he's testing his expansion. Just wanted to let you know there's something in your queue. He plans on using discord for the voice channel and his game is on Tabletopia.

Ing should be primary. It’s their stuff, their GMs, their recruiting, and if we were playing in meatspace, it would be in their room.

Hi Angelica,
I understand your concern.
The host has the edit access. If no host is defined, then primary as the default host has edit access. That’s where your problem came in. Your GMs have to list Indie as the primary, because they don’t have access to the host field. What you need to do is list Indie as host then switch Indie to secondary. It can be done in one edit, but setting the host lets you move to secondary and still retain edit access.
Playtest is a classification like Tournament or Demo. Type is Board, CCG, Mini, RPG, etc. That reminds me, I need to add Playtest to the classification filter. I keep forgetting to do so. :)

Hi Tanya,
To answer your question on discord, I can make the changes, and swap the secondary and primary. My only concern is, will I have access to those games if changes need to be made?
I had an issue with some of my games being sent to a different department earlier because they were under a different primary type. Because they were in contact with me I understood what they needed and what changes needed to be made to their events (also being able to keep track and input it on my own schedules if changes do happen).
While I agree that my games vary and I am a location and host they all share the type of playtest only games. Does playtest not qualify as a type?

Hi All,
Given that virtual events means more events have limits, I figured that we really needed to have the ability to offer a waitlist for events. The default will be 2 and is only valid for events listed as Virtual. It is currently only visible on the Event Pre-Reg page. I will add it to the run and edit event pages as soon as I can.
Now here is the rub. While adding the waitlist layer to the Pre-reg page was relatively easy, adding it as a separate approved list is not. So, once an event has reached max capacity, anyone in the “Pending” list will have to remain there to be considered waitlisted; don’t approve them. The code should stop anyone from signing up once the combined event max and waitlist max is reached.
As for GMs being able to email pending players, that was already handled. The GM will know the status of every player signed-up for their event. Once the event is at max, they will know which players are their alternates. And they can email whichever players they like, so they could send one email to the approved players and a different one the the pending/waitlisted players.
Any questions or concerns, please email me.
