[Deptheads] Gateway 2023 recap meeting Sunday

Open Gaming Report:

The new table layout in Open gaming was a success!!  We only filled it
totally once for the weekend, which was at 1pm on Saturday.  The remainder
of the weekend we generally had at least 2 or 3 tables available during our
peak crunch times the remainder of the weekend.  We did have to shuffle
some of the smaller gaming groups from the big round tables over to the
smaller rectangular tables.
We have a request from Pathfinder Society to do some demo tables of
StarFinder 2.0 and Pathfinder 2.0 in the area.  This is something we did
prior to covid for some demo games, and as long as we have available
tables, this shouldn't be a problem.  But PFS needs to be cognizant of this
restriction:  our first priority for the tables is for Open Gaming games.
and if they use the space and tables they might have to contract the amount
of space during our highest peak times of Noon to 3pm on Saturday and
Sunday.

Thank you Volunteer coordinator for providing us with some of our first
ever volunteers to staff the Open Gaming HQ for expanded hours throughout
the late afternoon and evening!!

We only really had one incident of non-badged attendees trying to utilize
the area on Sunday.  They were told that they could come down, setup and
play in the Open Gaming area without a badge by someone.  Please don't
spread false information.  We want all our active attendees to purchase
badges, either for the weekend or a day pass.
