No, but I see potential issues with you not using the scenario field. Examples from Orccon 2025,
Ticket to Ride Expansions
Ticket to Ride: Mini Games
Ticket to Ride: Nordic/Swiss
Ticket to Ride is the game system
Mini Games or Expansions or Nordic/Swiss is the variation or scenario
Power Grid World Tour: Brazil
Power Grid is the game system
World Tour: Brazil is the scenario or variation
The intent was at some point to have a db table of game systems with base descriptions, max players, estimated time, etc. These would be automatically added to the fields and be editable. Games not in the list would be accepted.
Which brings me to The Gauntlet. Not sure how to deal with these.
In the grand scheme of things,
THE GAUNTLET QUALIFIER: Catan
would read
Catan THE GAUNTLET QUALIFIER
But, until we get that table up, I don’t have a good argument. However, I’m considering adding qualifier to the classification list. Which would mean the event would start displaying this way.
THE GAUNTLET: Catan Qualifier
Just warning you, and everyone else.

For the purpose of the Payouts crew, all sponsored tournaments are treated like standard events. The two departments that I know of that have historically offered more prize support than dealer dollars are Collectibles and Video Games.
