Mulmaster Undone and Siege of Serpents

On Saturday evening, the Adventurers League will present Mulmaster Undone, a massive, multi-table Dungeons & Dragons event. Tables are filling up fast, but if you join the waitlist we will add more tables as necessary. Magic! L.A. Board Game Jam Gets A Room

Top off your summer by designing a game! Gateway will host the second L.A. Board Game Jam, a competition challenging teams of participants to design, test and demo a board game in five hours. The event will be held in the Bel Air room on Sunday; veteran designers will mentor and judge. For more information and to sign up, visit http://www.laboardgamejam.com.

Steampunk… and the Seventies?

Live-action roleplaying returns with Steampunk Shark Tank, in which inventors pitch their ideas for amazing racing machines. With Nikola Tesla hosting, it’s bound to be interesting! The Steampunk Differential team has also partnered up with the Spirit of '77 crew to create New Years Disco Eve, which promises funkadelic, disco-tastic LARP shenanigans!

Try Play-By-Mail For Free

Reality Simulations, Inc. (RSI) has been producing fine play-by-mail (PBM) games since 1984. Attendees can experience this time-honored tradition LIVE at Gateway, with turns ending every two hours. Try Duel II (formerly known as Duelmasters), a turn-based gladiatorial combat game, or Dwarves vs. Orcs, which is pure strategy set in the Forgotten Realms universe.

Dealers and Freebies and Demos, Oh My!

Gateway’s Dealer Room will feature more than 40 dealers selling games, accessories, memorabilia and handmade crafts. The Strategicon Game Library boasts nearly 500 games, ranging from classic to contemporary; Miniature Boot Camp and Gaming 101 sessions are perfect for learning new games. Between seminars, Super Nerd Trivia and our Paint and Take mini painting pavilion, Gateway has something for everyone. The first 1,300 attendees in the door will receive an exclusive flat plastic mini from Arcknight!
