Strategicon conventions come but thrice a year, and only one of them can be Gamex <http://www.strategicon.net/>. Four amazing days of gaming await you this Memorial Day weekend, May 27-30 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport. Today is your last day to submit games or events. Event pre-registration opens at noon sharp tomorrow-- Saturday, May 7.

The second block of hotel rooms at the convention rate has sold out, but a third should open tonight.

Important: Outside Food Policy

Going forward, convention staff must enforce the Hilton’s outside food policy. The convention can and will be fined for individual infractions, so your cooperation is imperative.

Absolutely NO outside food or beverage items, including alcohol, are permitted in public areas of the hotel. This includes the hotel lobby, gaming and registration areas, meeting rooms, theater and dealer room. If you wish to have food in any of these areas, it must be purchased from the hotel. Outside food is permitted in hotel rooms (please leave your cooler there) or the third-floor Courtyard.

Victory Point Games will run continuous demos in honor of Special Guest Jeremy Lennert, best known for Darkest Night; meanwhile, Michael Coe will show a prototype of the upcoming Heroes of Land, Air & Sea as well as all the Tiny Epic goodness you’ve come to expect from Gamelyn Games.

Dungeon Master Returns!

Gangway for the Ultimate Improv Adventure! Gamex sees the return of Dungeon Master <http://happyfluffybunnies.com/dungeonmaster/>, who will take audience volunteers on an unforgettable journey Saturday night at 10 p.m.
