Happy New Year from Strategicon Conventions! We hope 2017 finds you happy, healthy and looking forward to playing games with friends and family for four days straight!

The 40th annual Orccon will be held Presidents’ Day weekend, February 17-20, 2017 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel. It will not eclipse St. Valentine’s Day this year. If you (or someone you love) would like to run a game or event at Orccon, the deadline to submit events is Friday, January 27. Pre-registration for individual events will open the following day.

Third Block From the Sun

The third and final block of hotel rooms is now available at the convention rate! Visit our dedicated hotel link <https://aws.passkey.com/event/49036840/owner/50954/home> to book your room by January 31st. The convention room rate is $159 per night for single or double occupancy. Parking at the Hilton is $9 with validation (tickets available at Registration).

T is for Tournament

The Warhammer 40K Tournament will be return in a big way at Orccon 2017, featuring 3 rounds of battle, 2000 point army lists, no entry fees and an emphasis on competitive fun! In addition, we will host a North American Catan Championship Qualifier. The Monday morning MEGA tournament will be Splendor, and the Power Grid World Tour will continue (maps: Brazil/Spain & Portugal, China/Korea).

The Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League will run more than 30 different adventures, including the very first Tier 4 adventures, DDAL 05-18 and DDAL 05-19, Eye of Xxiphu, as well as the west coast debut of the second Season 5 Epic, DDEP 5-2 The Ark of the Mountains.
