It may seem like it's been an eternity since the last live show, but in just a few weeks (Sep 3 – Sep 6) the first and last live Strategicon convention of the year takes place at the Hilton, Los Angeles Airport! In just a couple of days (Aug 14 at Noon) game pre-registration starts!

We need games! If you'd like to run a game please sign up to do so at www.strategicon.net/?run_event <http://www.strategicon.net/?run_event> . We can only run the games we have volunteers to run!

On top of more games, we need volunteers for all sorts of things. Run games, help with the family area, work the registration desk, whatever — we need people to make a live convention happen. The LARP Department Boffer Showcase is back — this time as an exciting, action-packed cover shooter! Join the Union of Good Guys, a league of second-string superheroes, and help them fight off the various forces of evil and chaos. Fantastic foam-based violence. Metal and metalcore music provided.

The Power Grid World Tour returns! This is the only live show of the year, so we plan a whirlwind of some unusual locales.

Adventurers League offers a plethora of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition adventures. Sign ups at warhorn.net.

Stay with us at the LAX Hilton! Though they are going fast, we still have some rooms available for the show. Reservations must be made by August 20th to get the convention rate.
