In just nine days Strategicon will host Gateway 2021 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport, our first live show since Orccon 2020, on September 3 through September 6.

Experience the return of all the features that only a live gaming convention can provide -- from a myriad of shopping options to organized tournaments to face-to-face pick up games to our gaming 101 instructional sessions -- something for gamers of all kinds and stripes.

Speaking of shopping we have over 40 vendors in our dealer room. Many old favorites along with some fresh faces. A wide variety of games and game-related paraphernalia for every type of gamer.

We also herald the return of the Strategicon Flea Market and the Strategicon Game Auction. Here you can find that missing gem for your collection or possibly clear your closet of your surplus games.

The Strategicon Football League returns for its 12th season. The draft happens Saturday and the season runs almost through Orccon 2022.

We also have a 24-hour 8-round Flames of War tournament, "The Longest Day" starting on Saturday. Play as many rounds as you like.

Our "Paint and Take" instructional miniatures painting lessons return. We provide everything -- paints, miniatures, and know-how. Open to all ages! When you're done with your masterpiece you can enter it in ...

The Strategicon Painting Contest returns! Several categories, including some for beginning and junior painters. Judging on Sunday.

We have hundreds of games of all genres, including Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40k, Battlestations, Werewolf, Ticket to Ride, Power Grid, Circvs Maximvs, Magic: The Gathering, and a whole lot more.

We still need volunteers for all sorts of things. Run games, help with the family area, work the registration desk, whatever — we need people to make a live convention happen. If interested in getting in for free in exchange for 8 hours works please sign up at www.strategicon.net/?volunteer
