The convention room rate is $139 per night for single or double occupancy for two double beds, or one king bed. $159 for triple occupancy and $179 for quad occupancy with two double beds. There is only one block; it is a large one, but once the rooms are gone, they are gone.
Update: January 26th, 2018: We are effectively sold out. Any room that shows up at this point is likely a cancelation.
Update: January 26th, 2018: We are down to double bed rooms on Saturday and king bed rooms on Sunday and Monday. This will cause the search for rooms covering both Saturday and Sunday nights to fail -- they must be booked spearately. The Hilton should be able to consolidate the booking at the hotel, but Saturday is completely sold out outside of our block, so there is only so much they can do.
Update: January 15th, 2018: We are now out of Friday rooms, and the hotel is sold out for Friday. Sunday rooms are now available for $189 to $229, depending on the number of people in the room. Given the situation, expect all rooms at any rate to fill up soon.
January 12th, 2018: We have procured a few more Sunday rooms at a higher rate, but lower than the going rate. They will be available on Monday. Keep checking our Hilton reservation page, as we don't know the exact moment they will appear.
January 5th, 2018: There are no more Sunday rooms or King bed rooms available at the convention rates. Please check with the Hilton directly for general availability.
Change to Hotel Reservation Policy
Starting with Orccon 2017, in order to confirm a room assignment for Attendees, the Hilton will require a guarantee for the first night’s stay, refundable up to 24 hours in advance of the convention. Checks and major credit cards are acceptable to establish prepayment.
Hotel Food Policy
No outside food or beverage items, including alcohol, are permitted in public and convention areas. This includes the hotel lobby, registration and gaming areas, meeting rooms, theater and dealer room. If you wish to have food in any of these areas, it must be purchased from the hotel.
Any attendee, staff member or exhibitor bringing coolers, fast food bags, bottles, cases of beer or soft drinks, delivery boxes, grocery items or other outside food into public convention areas will be directed to take it back to their hotel rooms or the third-floor Courtyard.
Convention staff must enforce the Hilton’s outside food policy. The convention can and will be fined for individual infractions, so your cooperation is appreciated.
Parking rates at the Hilton are as follows: $9 general and $20 for valet per day for convention attendees.
