[Deptheads] observations

The Tom Clancy and Curt Schilling deals would match what I said: big names
and no cost/effort. If you can come up with something like that, it would be
amazing. But I think opportunities like that are few and far between.

Wil Wheaton does play at Game Empire in Pasadena sometimes. I do wonder how
much of a draw he would be. There are some more 'gamer celebrities' (Pam
from the Office loves Carcassonne, the guy on Made Men is big on Twilight
Struggle, a few more) but I would be surprised if we could get many of them
to come to a con without something to promote to our specific audience.

If you want to go Hollywood, we're probably better off seeking out companies
looking to promote their genre films. They might bring in a little glitz and
perhaps stars from the movie for no cost. Even so, this is a nice add-on but
not a big draw.
