[Deptheads] Conbook proof 3

I would totally disagree with that. I have been to many painting contest at
not only Strategicon events but at national events across the country.
Strategicons painting contest are not that big and a slight change would
hardly be noticed, the time to change something for the better is always
ASAP. What "lead time" are you talking about? Time to paint? People who are
entering have the stuff done before the con.
Ok, entry time can stay the same and close of entries is still noon on
Sunday per your con book now, So the only real change is the judging time of
4pm and no one is affected negatively by that it just makes it better for
all the reasons I have stated. Why have a painting contest where no one gets
to see the winners? People still have till the evening to PU figures if they
like but this gives people who must leave earlier a chance to enter as well.
I still think you need to have the miniatures painting display in the
miniatures area as part of the over all look of the area. You want to give
miniatures a boost at the con then give them something to look at! That is
better for us as there will always be some one to deal with it right there.

PS let me know what you decide so I bring the case or not. Maybe I'll just
do an HMGS/PSW display.
