It's not that bad. In general if a person is working extra time and would qualify for a room (or even if it's close), we can reimburse parking instead at the non-valet convention rate (i.e. about $10 a day). This is fairly flexible, but we try to limit it to senior volunteers etc.

I told her I would ask, as I don't know all the ins and outs. My first instinct was to say "no" as I've never personally known anyone to get a parking reimbursement even though I do see it on the reimbursement form.

Basically a handbook with what I can or cannot offer volunteers, and I'm also collecting the "volunteer duty" descriptions from each department as I receive them. Anyway, for right now I just need to answer this particular person's question. If someone needs to message me privately and ask "who" this is, I can answer that. (Don't want to embarrass them, even though it's not someone I personally know well, I'm pretty sure many of you do know them)
