 Ok, but will volunteers be able to access their badges and pre-register without it?
I admit I am passing on information second hand, so I am not completely clear on what the issue is...

As a practical matter, the QR codes are mostly useful for paid attendees, and other people who pick up their badges directly from reg. As far as I know, everything should work the same as last time. There is no way to pre-check a normal attendee without a QR code, or to automatically carry over information provided at the door. The QR codes should not affect how volunteers and GMs get their badges, since no department head has asked for that list--at least from me (as the dude who makes that list).

How to do this is included in the policy, if you need it, but I usually have folks send me their vaccination cards (a pic) and I have a precleared list of people so I don't have to keep checking. Hope this helps.

Hi Shane,

 

My badge appears there but it requires a Covid QR-Code to access.  I have my vaccination/booster card.  Is there any way I can use that (as I have done in the past) rather than go through the trouble of setting up an account, downloading the code, and then uploading it to the site?

 

Sorry, but I'm not all that familiar with QR codes.
